Fun Times with the Syracuse Fays

We had such a nice visit with Kevin's brother Mike and his family last weekend. We went to the Aquarium (sans Kevin who was working hard), lots of fun with cards and swinging the girls around. Gwen is a thoughtful, easy-going and introspective person who is always fun to talk to. You can come back to visit us any time!

We are Moving

I have been afraid to jinx it all, but we are 12 days away from moving into a dream house, about 3 miles away from our current house. Our address will change to Lawrenceville, but we are still basically in the Lilburn area. We got a good deal due to the bad housing market, but we don't have a buyer for our house yet. Anyone looking for a deal on a 3-4 bedroom 2Ba house in Lilburn? We have put blood sweat and tears into this house and now that it looks great, someone else can enjoy it. The new house is 5BR, a nice fenced-in back yard, a screened-in back porch and a BEAUTIFUL kitchen with all the space I could want. We couldn't be happier (well Kevin could be happier if someone else would pay for one of these mortgages, but you know what I mean). Someone buy this Lilburn house!
PS. Anyone interested in a GREAT deal on a Kenmore Elite stainless steel oven that is BRAND NEW? Never been used? It's a 30" single one we would like to sell (listed on Craigslist for $750, but because it's you, I will give you a huge discount). Also, a stainless steel microwave, brand name...... something. Good deal, nonetheless.

Goofy

God gave us two girls who fit perfectly in our family. Frannie is a goofball, but Gracie is the goofballiest. She is going to be a comedian one day (along with attaining her M.D. and making important discoveries which will change humanity, of course).

Grace is Out of Surgery

She did very well today and I'm certain she only complained because she was hungry. She would have eaten a steak if I had given it to her. Her mouth was crusty with blood, she was still oozing some and her cheeks look like chipmunk's, but she DID eat 1/3 of a candy bar on the way home and almost an entire can of soup (chicken noodle) and a soft roll. She can't be feeling TOO horrible. They took out two teeth from the top of her mouth and had to fill some cavities. Oh, and scrape some teeth to fit the bands for the upcoming appliance to snap right onto. Onto which they will snap. She and Frannie are both asleep, together in Mom and Dad's bed, cute as buttons. Frannie spent the evening hurling on our living room wall and a dog. She's better, however. More later.
