Grace just got back from the doctor where we found out that the back of her palate has opened up and she now has a hole where there was formerly (a week ago) a back palate and uvula. What they sewed together to make her palate has started to split open from the back. This means another surgery in 3 to 6 months. Lord give me strength, truly.

We are spending spring break in WA with friends we made on our adoption trip to China. Their son just had another palate surgery. Ugh. But he is a resilient little man! Blessings to you all!
I am so sorry! Our Analiese has gone through multiple surgeries and still has a small fistula! The worst part was that because of an infection (and the subsequent treatment) her once long enough palate is now too short. That will require ANOTHER surgery.
Analiese handles it all like a trooper and we know that one day it will all be worth it!
Hi Fays! We received your new portraits of the girls yesterday, they are beautiful! Poor Grace...but I love that the photog took that picture of her crying! Praying for you all, and will pray more...I'm grateful that there have been others who have gone through all this, and are praying with and for you. We love you!
