Chongqing Population

I just looked this up on Bing.com. It's hard for me to conceive! When we were in Beijing, I thought THAT PLACE was mobbed. We are about to travel to the MOST populous city in China (and I'm willing to bet most of you have never heard of it)!

These are the stats from a few years ago:

1 Chongqing 15,300,000
2 Shanghai 13,100,000
3 Beijing 12,200,000
4 Chengdu 9,900,000
5 Harbin 9,200,000
6 Tianjin 9,000,000
7 Shijiazhuang 8,600,000
8 Wuhan 7,200,000
9 Qingdao 7,000,000
10 Changchun 6,800,000
11 Guangzhou 6,700,000
12 Hong Kong 6,700,000

Yes, Ellen, I saw the nannies at the Dianjiang SWI in one of your pics and recognized them from our viist. How neat that the girls will be from the same orphanage?! Can't wait to follow you along on your journey. We were able to visit the SWI, what an experience. Would love to get the girls together once you are back home and settled in! So exciting!

I know that I could look this up, but it would be neat for you to list a few of the big US cities and show where they "rank" in comparison... like NYC, LA, ATL, CHIC, etc... HMMM -- we don't know crowded, do we?
