Our Prayers Have Been Answered!

And the answer is No! We asked everyone to pray for guidance and acceptance and we got both. The little girl was not feeling right to me and we both felt okay about it. We have lots of options and for now, we are going to pray our daughter is on a SN list coming out this week and if not, we will pray and look until we find her. Thanks everyone for your comments and prayers.

This journey is at times frustrating. But, know that your child is waiting for you--look at Matthew. He waited and waited until Dave and I realized--WE are his family! Our agency is expecting a list soon--I don't know exactly when (within 2 weeks), but I would recommend asking to be a preview family. That way you get the password first before the general public. I think all you have to do is submit an application, no fee involved. Please email me at mom2mags@bellsouth.net if you want any further information. I also know that many preview families have put in a "request" with our agency and lo and behold found their child on the next waiting list. The requests were general to specific (young baby with cleft palate or 5 year old with HepB). We were a preview family for Analiese's list and there she was just waiting for us to find her!
As Carrie Underwood sings, " Jesus please take the wheel" know that he will guide you in the right direction. Our prayers are with you!

Thanks for swinging by my place! The more the merrier, I reckon!

Frannie is SUCH a sweetheart! I really envy the US programmes, as here in Australia, our Govt won't let us do Special Needs adoptions (yet!). Which is such a pity, as there are so many gorgeous kids that need homes. Will be praying that you find Frannie's sibbling!
